Dale has been a high profile Business Leader and “serial CEO” leading 4 different non-profit and corporate organizations in rehabilitation services, economic development,
and international trade promotion. He has also spent 11 years in leadership of thelargest small business organization in Canada (the CFIB), working with over 100,000 entrepreneurs across the nation. He has held several other senior positions in the public sector as an Environment Manager, a Management Consultant to several Premiers, and as Executive Director of a Ministry of Science and Technology. He ended his career in Government as Deputy Minister of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation, and as the founding CEO of Enterprise Saskatchewan.

Dale has had his own business since 2003, and before his last appointments with Government agencies, he assisted dozens of business, community and research
organizations with strategy, economic development, marketing, and leadership coaching. Since April 1, 2010 Dale has returned to his business - Botting Leadership and Development - on a full-time basis. He is now applying his 35 years of diversified, “hands on” leadership experiences to business and personal coaching/ mentoring with passion and focus. His current client list includes research institutes, universities, aboriginal organizations and many companies in all sectors, and across Western Canada. Dale is uniquely able to also provide other ancillary skills to assist with government relations, corporate strategy, planning, management advice, governance, corporate social responsibility, and sales growth within a vast network for business development.

He has 3 undergraduate degrees with Highest Distinction in Biology, Geography and Education at the University of Saskatchewan. His post-graduate studies were at the University of Calgary in Environmental Design, and now again under the Newfield Coach Training Certification Program – one of the most highly regarded programs around the globe and which is accredited by the International Coach Federations (ICF).
