Shana Ring is President of Destination Leadership Inc. based in Regina and specializes in the areas of providing coaching skills training, one-on-one coaching, and consulting in succession planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.

Shana is the founder of a new coaching skills training program called The EXPEDITION Coaching™ Program. The program is based on extensive research and incorporates the most current and innovative coaching techniques. The program features custom-designed videos that support the program and provide powerful demonstrations of real-life coaching conversations in the workplace. Other features include the GUIDE Coaching™ Model, the DIRECT Feedback™ Model, the Coaching Relationship Compass (Trust) Model, and unique processes for listening, questioning, and providing feedback with “intention”. This program is available as a two-day workshop and a 4-day Certified Facilitator workshop, both in-house and public offerings.

Shana Ring is a Certified Coach and accredited through the International Coach Federation (ICF). She has completed extensive coach training through Royal Roads University (Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching) and Corporate Coach U (Core Essentials Program).  Shana is an Instructor of the Coaching & Mentoring Employees Workshop in the University of Regina's Professional Leadership Certificate Program. She also works with Corporate Coach U (a US-based coaching training company) as an Associate and Master Facilitator of the Coaching Clinic Program and Licensing Program.

She brings over 20 years of work experience within the Saskatchewan public and private sector. Shana spent over 13 years working at SaskPower designing organizational development initiatives, succession planning and leadership programs, and leading organizational change. During this time, she coached and consulted with individuals and teams in both management and unionized environments including executives, managers, supervisors and professional staff, and technical staff including engineers, trades and technologists, and shift-workers.

Shana holds a Master of Arts (MA) Degree in Leadership & Training from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Regina. She is certified in numerous programs and tools including: The Coaching Clinic®, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®), EQ-i/EQ-360, Crucial Conversations®, among others.

Shana is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Human Resource Professionals (SAHRP). She is also a member of the International Personnel Management Association (IPMA), the Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan, and the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Shana is Vice-President of the Prairie Professional Coaches Association – the Saskatchewan ICF Chapter.  She is also a board member with the Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan and serves as the Vice-Chair.
