WELCOME to ICF Saskatchewan

Jackie McConaghy, MA, CEC, ACC
President, ICF Saskatchewan

Each year ICF Saskatchewan holds a gala event – the PRISM Awards.  Applauding the organizers – Barbara Bell and Lori Lipinski who did an exceptional job of leading the team of committee volunteers from start to finish, including the work of the Nominating Committee, volunteers Richard Clatney and Lorna Selinger.

The event was held at the Wascana Country Club, Lori Lipinski was the Master of Ceremonies and guest speakers included Mickey Gustafson, Member Experience Ambassador (North America), ICF Global who shared the changes happening at ICF Global.  She was followed by Phyllis O’Conner, Executive Director, Canadian Mental Health Association Regina who shared the benefits of coaching at CMHA.

The nomination for the 2019 PRISM Award was submitted by Shana Ring, a member of ICF Saskatchewan.  Our association is well-known to Creative Options Regina (COR), Shana has done work with their team.

Rory McCorriston, Director of People and Culture for COR, accepted the award and provided the audience with a powerful presentation on COR’s journey to “creating a coaching culture”.

International Coaching Week
May 4-10, 2020

I became an ICF Sk member because after taking the training, I really needed a community. I was all by myself in rural Saskatchewan, very disconnected from other coaches. Being a member has helped me stay connected and the events give me an opportunity to meet other coaches from throughout the province. I highly recommend becoming a ICF SK member – especially if you are self-employed.

Tracy Schira-Parker, CPA, CMA, ACC

I joined ICF Sask when I was new to the business of coaching. As a result, I have built lifelong relationships with colleagues interested and curious to learn and grow professionally and personally. Having worked solo for most of my career, these connections have been invaluable and inspiring. This, in addition to training and events, advertising benefits and opportunities to volunteer are why I continue my membership with ICF Sask.
